Canada held 3 Express Entry draws in one week, including 4,500 French-speaking candidates invited at a CRS of 446—one of 2025’s lowest. Bilingual talent is clearly in demand.
On September 5, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 4,500 candidates in a targeted Express Entry draw focused on French-language proficiency. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 446, significantly lower than recent draws.
This draw followed two others earlier in the same week:
Sept 2: Provincial Nominee Program – 249 ITAs, CRS 772
Sept 3: Canadian Experience Class – 1,000 ITAs, CRS 534
Together, these three draws reflect Canada’s evolving immigration priorities:
Increased focus on category-based selection
Strong support for Francophone immigration
Lower CRS thresholds for targeted groups
With over 62,000 ITAs issued in 2025, bilingual professionals—especially the French speakers—are being actively welcomed.
