The results of Canada's most recent Express Entry draw were just made public on November 9, 2022. With a CRS score of 494, Express Entry 235 welcomed 4,750 individuals to apply.

Express Entry Draw: 235
Draw Date: November 9, 2022
Number of Invitations Issued: 4,750
Minimum CRS: 494
Program Specified: Non-specified
Tie-breaking rule: June 06, 2022, 20:48:23 UTC

The Express Entry draw on November 9th was the tenth since all programme draws resumed on July 6th, 2022.

Candidates having a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 494 received 4,750 invitations to apply (ITA) in Express Entry draw 235 because no programs were identified for the draw (FSTP). Applicants from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program were invited.

With each draw, the CRS has been progressively dropping as the backlog of Express Entry pool applications is being processed. The CRS dropped by 2 points in the most recent draw. The cut-off scores finally fell below 500 points in these last two draws, which has been eagerly anticipated ever since draws commenced.

Each draw has seen a rise in the number of ITAs issued. However, the number of ITAs doled out in Express Entry draw number 235 was the same as in the previous draw. 500 more invitations to apply were distributed during the course of the previous three draws, and 4,750 invitations were distributed in the most recent draw, making a total of 4,750.

The target number of Permanent Residents expected to enter Canada in 2025 will be greatly increased under the Immigration Levels Plan, which was unveiled on November 1, 2023. According to the most recent immigration proposals, the Canadian government wants to bring in 500,000 immigrants by the year 2025.

The majority of new Permanent Residents immigrate through economic class programs such as those within the Express Entry system or through Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs).

Over the next three years, Canada will welcome an increasing number of new immigrants. The plan also places a greater emphasis on attracting newcomers to various sections of the country, including small towns and rural communities. The targets are as follows:

• 82,880 in 2023
• 109,020 in 2024
• 114,000 in 2025

The new strategy also aspires to expand regional initiatives to address specific local labour market requirements, such as the Provincial Nominee Program, the Atlantic Immigration Program, and the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot. PNPs targets will also see an increase as follows:

• 105,500 in 2023
• 110,000 in 2024
• 117,500 in 2025

Critical labour market shortages have prompted many to resort to immigration as a solution to these shortages. The new policy welcomes immigration as a method to assist firms in finding labour. It also strives to attract the necessary skills for critical industries such as health care, skilled crafts, manufacturing, and technology. This will aid in managing Canada's social and economic issues in the coming decades.

Over 405,000 newcomers arrived in Canada last year, the highest number ever in a single year. Canada hopes to break that record in 2022 by accepting over 432,000 people by the end of the year, a goal that is by all means likely to be accomplished.

The Canadian government uses Express Entry to administer applications for Canadian permanent residency. Express Entry ranks candidates' profiles using a point-based system known as the CRS. The system oversees three primary programs:

• Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
• Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Applying for Express Entry requires two steps.

• The first step is submitting your profile and the necessary documentation. Language test scores, school credentials, and passport or travel paperwork are typically required documents.

• The second stage is to submit your complete application for assessment by the IRCC once you have submitted a profile and received an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residency. Reference letters, additional identity documents, police clearance certificates, and the results of a medical examination should all be included in your comprehensive application.

On November 23, 2022, the upcoming CANADA Express Entry draw number 236 is expected. Express Entry draws are done every two weeks on Wednesdays, according to IRCC. Express Entry draws are done biweekly on Wednesday afternoons, according to IRCC.
