The Express Entry draw on November 9th was the tenth since all programme draws resumed on July 6th, 2022.

Candidates having a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 494 received 4,750 invitations to apply (ITA) in Express Entry draw 235 because no programs were identified for the draw (FSTP). Applicants from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program were invited.

With each draw, the CRS has been progressively dropping as the backlog of Express Entry pool applications is being processed. The CRS dropped by 2 points in the most recent draw. The cut-off scores finally fell below 500 points in these last two draws, which has been eagerly anticipated ever since draws commenced.

Each draw has seen a rise in the number of ITAs issued. However, the number of ITAs doled out in Express Entry draw number 235 was the same as in the previous draw. 500 more invitations to apply were distributed during the course of the previous three draws, and 4,750 invitations were distributed in the most recent draw, making a total of 4,750.

The target number of Permanent Residents expected to enter Canada in 2025 will be greatly increased under the Immigration Levels Plan, which was unveiled on November 1, 2023. According to the most recent immigration proposals, the Canadian government wants to bring in 500,000 immigrants by the year 2025.

The majority of new Permanent Residents immigrate through economic class programs such as those within the Express Entry system or through Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs).

• 105,500 in 2023
• 110,000 in 2024
• 117,500 in 2025

It also strives to attract the necessary skills for critical industries such as health care, skilled crafts, manufacturing, and technology. This will aid in managing Canada's social and economic issues in the coming decades.

On November 23, 2022, the upcoming CANADA Express Entry draw number 236 is expected. Express Entry draws are done every two weeks on Wednesdays, according to IRCC. Express Entry draws are done biweekly on Wednesday afternoons, according to IRCC.
